Avita's story

We are a South African based, women-owned technology business that has come a long way since our humble beginnings in 2017.

What started out as a small business based in South Africa has now grown into a successful and well-known enterprise servicing clients across the continent.

Our journey

In 2017, we began this journey as At Play Interactive Talent and launched the product Avita to improve the recruitment process for talent managers, employers and candidates alike.

Why? Employers deserve to fulfil their vision, but business is often stifled by vacant roles. Talent Managers are faced with a hefty task of screening volume applications and often have a small team to support delivering against tight timeframes and quality standards. Candidates deserve to be seen and put themselves forward, at a time most suited to their schedules but are often judged based only on CV.

In a recent survey, 100% of our clients answered 10 out of 10 for how likely they are to refer Avita as a must have screening solution, and they all report significant improvement in their hiring. That’s the magic that drives our constant innovation.
